A book is a set or collection of written, printed, illustrated, or blank sheets, made of ink, paper, parchment, or other materials, usually fastened together to hinge at one side. A single sheet within a book is called a leaf, and each side of a leaf is called a page. A book produced in electronic format is known as an electronic book (e-book). [Wikipedia]
Books are full of wisdom, and I want to encourage you to read more and more. In this age of speed and incredible technological advancements, it is easy not to find time for reading. But hopefully the high sales of e-book readers like the Kindle from Amazon is a sign people still find time to read.
For lots of christian, the only book they are committed to reading is the Bible. That is good as the Bible is the Book of Life and ultimately, understanding and live by the principles of the Bible brings unimaginable rewards in the form of blessings.
My books and e-books
I personally have a collection of over 350 paper books. Have I read them all? Not yet but I have surely found answers to some of life’s challenges in those I have already read. With e-books getting cheaper and affordable tablet PC, I am now determined to building a huge collection of e-books. E-books have many advantages over paper books but there is something about holding a paper book in your hands that is not there when reading an e-book.
What to read?
What kind of books should you read? Read books that will inspire you to become a better person and to be a high achiever. The Bible is a good start.
